Ron founded Atomhawk in 2009 following 16 years as an artist and creative director in the games and entertainment industry. His days are now spent setting Atomhawk’s future direction, making sure we continue to deliver industry-leading creative work and leading the charge to the bar at industry events.
Head of Operations, Tim, is the man behind Atomhawk’s well-oiled operation. Tim ensures we have all the right processes in place to continue delivering awesome work on time and on budget and keeps a watchful eye over all the weird and wonderful things that go on here.
As Marketing Manager, Karen is responsible for Atomhawk’s good name and worldwide reputation, spreading the word about what we do, how well we do it and sharing the awesome content we create for our clients.
Becky leads the Atomhawk Production Team ensuring projects are delivered seamlessly and with excellent client service. Becky and her team work hard to ensure our work exceeds expectationsand uses her understanding of the art and design process to provide effective solutions to creative challenges.
Production Co-ordinator, Danielle, has risen through the Atomhawk ranks to become master of the Atomhawk production schedule. As well as keeping projects on track and ensuring deadlines are met, Danielle also works with the rest of the production team to manage client relationships.
Associate Producer Will is an essential support to the production team. As well as helping to manage internal and external projects, Will’s many guises include Atomhawk Librarian, Wall of Awesome Curator, Gaming Hub Custodian and Fun Club committee member.
As Officer Manager, Jill’s responsibilities are too vast and diverse to mention, but include helping us to find and recruit the best and most talented people in the business, maintaining the overall smooth-running of the office and organising the all-important parties!
As head of our UI/UX team, Dan’s diverse talents have been invaluable on all Atomhawk’s major design and interactive projects. Just a few highlights have included the interactive design for Pottermore™, the user interface design for Costa Coffee’s Express machines and virtual reality UI design for Eve: Valkyrie.
Since joining Atomhawk's UI/UX team in November 2013, Mike's diverse range of skills have had a resounding impact on internal and client projects. His work on projects such as Eve: Valkyrie, Champ Man All-Stars and Play Sage VR span user interface and user experience design, virtual reality and animation.
As an Atomhawk founding member, Corlen has been an integral part of the art team and the studio’s upward rise. His extensive Atomhawk credits are too many to mention, but include Injustice: Gods Among Us and the two most recent Mortal Kombat games.
As a senior and long standing member of the Atomhawk art team, Charlie’s stunning work and outstanding art skills have had a major impact on projects as diverse as Pottermore, Project Spark, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Dead Island: Riptide.
Drew is a skilled concept artist, illustrator and manager, specialising in character and environment design. Over the last 10 years Drew has played a vital role in the success of many game studios including Vicarious Visions and Carbine Studios and has worked on a range of brands such as Wildstar, Guitar Hero and Skylanders.
Since joining Atomhawk in October 2013, Viktoria has become a valuable member of our art team creating outstanding concepts for Lego, Pottermore and mobile action game, Spirit Lords, to name but a few. In her past life, Viktoria also illustrated a number of book covers and as a freelance artist, provided illustrations for Fantasy Flight games.
Max's art and design credentials include media design, fashion design and illustration. As well as working as a freelance concept artist for clients including Warner, Aaron Sims and Kabam, Max has also worked as a Concept, 2D and UI Artist for games studios in Germany and New Zealand. He has a passion for old furniture, interior design and flea markets and loves collecting pretty books and other people's art.
Michael began his art career with a 1st class degree in jewellery design, but fortunately for us he swiftly found his true calling as a concept artist. He got his first in-house gig as an environment artist at Climax Studios, where he refined his awesome skills before joining Atomhawk in April 2015.
Having originally trained as an aircraft engineer at Ukraine's National Aerospace University, Yaroslav instead decided to turn his hand to concept art. Before joining Atomhawk, he honed his art skills at games studios such as Ubisoft and Crytek working on franchises including Assassin's Creed, Trials Fusion and Warface.
Dan trained initially to become a 3D asset modeller for video games, but later began his art career as a freelance trading card illustrator for Cryptozoic Entertainment, using his spare time to develop his skills as a concept artist. Since joining the team at Atomhawk he has produced artwork for companies such as Deep Silver, Jagex and Warner Brothers.
Saeed moved all the way from Iran to join Atomhawk after wowing the art team here with his work. Saeed worked extensively as a freelance artist before spending a year and a half as a concept artist working on a number of different games titles.
Marco left sunny South Africa to join the Atomhawk concept team. Having studied at FZD School of Design, Marco gained experience with Volta, West Studios and MPC on titles including Just Cause 3 and Ghost in the Shell. In his spare time he enjoys gaming, playing the guitar and watching old school movies.
While studying at the HKU School of the Arts in Utrecht, Thomas gained valuable experience at Guerrilla Games and Triumph Studios working on Horizon Zero Dawn and Age of Wonders III. After graduating he dedicated his time to studying concept art, honing his skills and working on a number of freelance projects before spotting an opportunity to join the Atomhawk team.
Before joining Atomhawk Damian was putting his awesome talents to work on high profile projects for Riot, Bethesda and Sony. Luckily Atomhawk was able to lure him all the way over from Western Australia to join our team. Now in the UK, he hopes to continue following his passions for games, drawing, martial arts and hugging cute puppies.
On arriving at Atomhawk Dina quickly made a big impression on us and our clients. Prior to joining the concept team, she had previous experience working with Lego and Studio 78. Dina is a big movie fan and draws lots of her inspiration from her love of comics and animated film.
Matthias first joined Atomhawk as an intern while completing his Masters in Concept Art at Teeside University. Prior to his internship he had also proved his artistic talents with a Bachelors Degree in Visual Art and experience working on Horizon: Zero Dawn at Guerilla Games in Amsterdam. In his spare time Matthias enjoys travelling and indulging his passions for oil and plein-air painting.
