UI/UX Intuitive design,

User Interface design (UI) and User Experience design (UX) are vital elements of a player’s interaction with a game. To be successful, this needs interactive visuals that reflect the game’s wider aesthetic, and intuitive navigation routes that take players where they’re expecting to go.

Key Considerations

UX and UI are where players are made to feel at home in the game. No jarring ergonomics, a look that complements the game’s overall aesthetic and routes through the action that just make sense. Ultimately, this is where fantastic playability is created and there’s a lot to consider. Wide-ranging accessibility, how elements that exist outside of the game’s world reflect in-game elements, dynamic details and all the quiet features that make playing a game super comfy.

Our Approach

The combination of visual flair and technical expertise, coupled with proven experience working with clients such as Activision, Microsoft, Capcom and 2K puts Atomhawk’s UI/UX team well ahead of the curve. We deliver at scale, helping to design UI assets for games like Halo Infinite and Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War, which demand a huge volume of brilliantly designed individual elements. Additionally, we have the capability to work in-engine, implementing UI/UX directly into games.

"Our partnership with Atomhawk on FIFA Ultimate Team has been tremendously positive. The Atomhawk crew have been flexible and accommodating, allowing us to weave them into our visual development process as part of our creative pre-vis team. Receptive and professional, Atomhawk showed us along the way that they were also adaptable and creative, not just to the content but also the process."
