Little Orpheus, developed by The Chinese Room, is a technicolour side-scrolling adventure game inspired by classic movies like Flash Gordon, Sinbad and The Land that Time Forgot.

It features stunning visuals, beautiful soundtrack by Jessica Curry and Jim Fowler, and tells the tale of an endearing anti-hero with a narrative laced with humour.

Atomhawk helped create concept art, storyboards and logo design. We had worked previously with The Chinese Room but this project was different and exciting in terms of style and technical requirements.

“I really enjoyed playing a part in realizing the unique world that Little Orpheus was trying to create. It reminded me a lot of many of the comics or shows I used to watch as a kid and working on this project allowed me to relive many of those memories.”
